Working man's holiday, and working woman's as well, of course. I going to celebrate by doing a little labor out in the shop.
I got the pieces for the oil tank ready to tack together. I think I'm going to gas weld it together or at least try it and see how it goes. I still haven't decided how I'm going to weld the bungs in. Maybe TIG, maybe braze, maybe silver solder. I ground all the mill scale off the sheets on the edges and where the bungs all go. Regardless, when I get the box and the fittings welded in, I'll put the lid and the filler neck on and call it good.
