Hoof prints in the newly tilled garden. Judging by the size of them, a fairly large deer. With all the trouble I have with wildlife, I'm glad there aren't any large carnivorous animals around here. I'm also glad that nothing has sprouted yet for Bambi to munch on. I've never had a problem with deer eating things out of the garden, rabbits yes, deer no.
I bought myself some new running shoes yesterday. These could very well be the last pair I ever buy. At my age, who knows how much longer I'll want to run/race walk, or be able to. I'm not planning on rolling over for a while though. Coach Jen and I have four running events planned for the year so far. We're also planning on doing some cycling and hiking. Should be a good summer.
