Travelogue Part Three

How's this for a lovely view. Looking at the Alps from beautiful Innsbruck on a picture postcard perfect day.

The bus unloaded us right in front of Swarovski Crystal, this being the largest of their stores in Europe, by the way. After getting the welcoming spiel we were free to part with some of our Euros on gifts and use the toilets, which if you've traveled in Europe, is a gift in itself. Afterward we had a little free time to explore the Christmas market or the downtown area before boarding the bus and heading for Venice. I'm not sure what the deal is on the shopping stops but surprisingly enough, Swarovski had something for any budget, what with crystals being substantially cheaper then diamonds. And if you made a purchase, they threw in a free gift. Beautiful items in a beautiful city.

Next up, Venice.

But not before passing through some beautiful scenery. For a flatlander like myself, the mountains are just breathtaking. We passed a store coming into Munich that sold the traditional clothing associated with the Alps - lederhosen for the men and the St. Pauli girl outfit for the ladies if you want to dress up for Oktoberfest.
