Signs, signs, everywhere are signs, including right up the road from me.
I headed north yesterday and saw these signs. The one in the foreground is blank on the backside, so I didn't pay much attention to it. However, when I came home later in the day and saw it I figured I needed to get a picture of it before someone ran off with it. That's a definite stealable item around here!
I went to the doctor for my follow-up visit after the shoulder therapy and he set me up with a shoulder and elbow specialist. I see him next week and then I'll see what the next step is.
After the doctor's visit I headed to the college to take care of a couple details of my becoming an employee again. The young lady in HR was most helpful, and as a bonus, cute as a pup. Genuine "Little Miss Sunshine". After that I got some info on getting the grandson enrolled. I've got the wheels in motion for both of us. My part should be done in about a week and then I'll once again be gainfully employed. Don't know when I'll be working, but I'm in no hurry to get back in harness.
After getting my stuff squared away at the college, I stopped at Menards to pick up a few things for myself and some for the food pantry. The office of my financial advisor is a drop point for donations and I need to go there in a couple of days, so I got a few things. The office also is a drop point for Toys for Tots. It's an absolute shame that so many families are food insecure. I'm guessing things are going to get worse before they get better, too. It's going to be a rough winter for a lot of people around here.

it looks like a drag strip.
take a tape of this song to your gym. play this song on a cassette as you standing in front of an unsuspecting boxer in the ring. just as the 'ugh' part at 2:16 punch him pretty hard right in the gizzard see if you can make him ugh right in beat with the song. then let us know how funny it was.
The photo is looking south. There's a stop sign for the railroad tracks and then a 90 degree turn. North there is a hill and then the road sort of undulates. Not the best for a drag strip, especially since there are quite a few other places close by much better suited. However, even though the speed limit heading south is 30 mph, they do come over the hill at a helluva clip, blow the stop sign and take the corner and away they go.
As for the gym, I won't be doing anything until the shoulder's healed.
