Went out to the shop yesterday afternoon after the eye doctor visit and lunch with the Missus. I counterbored the holes for the cap screws, pulled the vise off the table and then commenced facing off the mounting surface. It's smooth as a baby's bottom and the angle is just like the factory had it. There are a couple of shadow lines in the photo that don't do it justice. Time to buy a carburetor.
